SECTION 1 — ABOUT STILL & STEADY CO.
What is Still & Steady Co. and what do you do?
Still & Steady Co. is a full-scope brand and media agency for ambitious women building businesses with purpose. We specialize in strategic web design, brand identity, social media management, and digital marketing — built to help you show up online in a way that reflects the level you are actually operating at.
Who do you typically work with?
We work with women-led service-based businesses — coaches, consultants, photographers, creatives, and faith-driven entrepreneurs who are ready to invest in a brand and online presence that matches their vision. Our clients are not beginners looking for the cheapest option. They are women who understand that their brand is a business asset and are ready to treat it like one.
What makes Still & Steady Co. different from other web designers and agencies?
Three things. First, we build strategy into every design decision — your website is not just beautiful, it is built to convert visitors into inquiries. Second, we offer a rare full-scope model: brand design, web design, social media management, and digital marketing under one roof, so your visual identity stays cohesive across every platform. Third, everything we build is rooted in intentionality — we take the time to understand your business, your values, and your client before we design a single element.
Is Still & Steady Co. faith-based?
Yes — and we are proud of it. Our name, our brand, and the way we work are all grounded in faith. "Be still and know" is not just a tagline — it is the operating principle of this studio. We believe excellence, intention, and purpose are not at odds with success. That said, you do not need to share our faith to work with us. We serve women of all backgrounds. What our clients do share is a commitment to doing business with integrity and building something that lasts.
SECTION 2 — THE WEBSITE-IN-A-DAY SERVICE
What exactly is a Website-in-a-Day?
It is exactly what it sounds like — your entire custom Showit website, designed and launched in a single focused day. From 9am to approximately 7pm, we work exclusively on your project. By the end of the day, you have a live, fully functional website with mobile optimization, SEO basics, and a connected inquiry form. What would typically take 4–8 weeks with a traditional designer takes one day.
How is that actually possible in one day?
The secret is the Prep Week that happens before Design Day. The week prior to your Design Day, you submit everything: your brand assets, your copy, your photos, any links or logins we need. We review everything, prepare the structure, and load your template base. By 9am on Design Day, we are not starting from scratch — we are building a fully prepared foundation into a polished, custom website. The one day is intensive, focused, and planned down to the hour.
What does the finished website include?
Every Website-in-a-Day includes your homepage, about page, services page, and contact page as standard. Depending on your package, additional pages such as a portfolio, blog, or sales page can be included. Every site includes mobile optimization, basic on-page SEO (meta titles and descriptions), a connected inquiry or contact form, and a 30-minute post-launch walkthrough video so you know exactly how to manage your site going forward.
What platform do you build on?
We build on Showit — the industry's leading drag-and-drop website platform for creative service providers. Showit gives you pixel-perfect design control, integrates seamlessly with WordPress for blogging, and gives you full ownership of your site. You are never locked into our account — the site lives in your own Showit subscription.
What do I need to prepare before Design Day?
You will receive a detailed Client Homework Checklist after booking. In short: your finalized website copy (all the words on your site), your professional brand photos, your logo files in PNG format, any links to pages you love for design reference, and your brand colors and fonts if you have them. If you are missing any of these, we will discuss solutions on your discovery call — it is not an automatic disqualifier, but the more prepared you are, the more we can accomplish on Design Day.
What if I don't have my copy written yet?
Most clients come to us without polished copy and we are used to working through this. We can work with rough notes, bullet points, or a brain dump — and we will help shape it into website-ready language during the process. For clients who need full copywriting support, we offer a copywriting add-on or can refer you to a trusted copywriter to prepare in advance.
What if I don't have professional photos?
We can work with high-quality iPhone photos if they are well-lit and consistent in style. We also work with curated stock photography that matches your brand aesthetic as a bridge while you plan a brand shoot. We will discuss your photo situation on the discovery call so you know exactly what is and is not workable before Design Day arrives.
What happens if we don't finish everything in one day?
In the rare case that additional work is needed beyond the Design Day, minor remaining items are addressed within 48 hours of launch. You will not be left with an unfinished site. Our process is built around a realistic, plannable scope — which is why the discovery call and Prep Week exist. We set expectations clearly upfront so Design Day is never a surprise.
How many revisions do I get?
The Website-in-a-Day includes one round of revisions on Design Day itself, completed during the live session. This is when you review the site, give feedback, and we make adjustments in real time. After launch, minor text and image edits within 48 hours are included. Design direction changes after the site is live are quoted separately.
Do I need to be available on Design Day?
Yes — but not in the way you might think. You do not need to sit on a Zoom call all day watching us build. We ask that you be reachable by text or Slack throughout the day for quick questions and approvals, and available for a 30-minute review session in the late afternoon before we finalize and launch.
SECTION 3 — BRANDING AND CUSTOM PACKAGES
What is included in a custom branding package?
Our full brand identity packages include a primary logo, secondary logo, submark, brand color palette, typography suite, brand pattern or texture, and a brand style guide — the complete document that ensures your brand stays consistent across every platform, designer, and piece of content you produce. Web design is added as a separate layer or bundled depending on your package.
I already have a logo — can I just get the website?
Yes. If you have an established brand identity and simply need a custom Showit website to match, we can absolutely work with what you have. We will review your existing brand assets on the discovery call to confirm they are web-ready and that we have everything we need to build cohesively.
What if I need more than a website — social media, email, the full picture?
That is exactly what Still & Steady Co. is built for. We offer social media management retainers, email marketing strategy, and paid media planning as standalone services or as additions to a brand and web package. Many of our clients start with a Website-in-a-Day and add social media management within the first 30 days of launch. Book a discovery call and we will map out the right combination for your specific goals and budget.
SECTION 4 — SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
What does your social media management service include?
Depending on the package you choose, our social media management includes content strategy, monthly content calendar, caption writing, graphic design for posts and carousels, basic video editing for Reels, scheduling and posting, and community engagement. We offer three tiers — The Foundation, The Momentum, and The Brand Partner — each scaled to the level of support your business needs. Full details are on our Services page.
Do I need to provide my own content and footage?
For most packages, yes — you provide the raw footage and photos and we handle the editing, design, captions, and posting. For clients on our higher-tier Brand Partner package, we can coordinate content direction and manage the full production process. We will discuss exactly what the workflow looks like for your package on your onboarding call.
How far in advance will I receive my content calendar?
Your monthly content calendar is delivered by the 25th of the preceding month so you always know what is posting and can approve or request changes before anything goes live. Nothing posts without your awareness.
Am I locked into a contract?
Our social media management agreements run on a 3-month minimum commitment. This is not to trap you — it is because social media results are not instantaneous and a 3-month runway is the minimum needed to build momentum, test what works, and deliver results you can actually see. After the initial 3 months, agreements renew monthly with 30 days' notice to cancel.
SECTION 5 — PROCESS AND TIMELINE
How does the process work from inquiry to launch?
It starts with your inquiry form. From there, we review your application and reach out within 48 hours to schedule a free discovery call. On the call, we confirm the right service for your goals, answer your questions, and discuss timeline and investment. If it is a mutual fit, we send your proposal — which includes your contract and invoice — through HoneyBook. Once signed and your deposit is paid, you are officially booked and your Prep Week is scheduled.
How far out are you currently booked?
Design Day availability varies by month. We take a limited number of Website-in-a-Day clients per month to protect the quality and focus each project deserves. If you have a specific launch deadline, mention it on your inquiry form and in your discovery call so we can confirm whether we can accommodate your timeline. Booking in advance is always recommended.
How long does a custom branding and web project take?
Full custom brand and web design projects typically take 3–6 weeks depending on the scope and your responsiveness during the feedback and revision phases. A detailed project timeline is included in your proposal so you know every milestone from kickoff to launch before you sign.
SECTION 6 — INVESTMENT AND PAYMENT
How much does a Website-in-a-Day cost?
Our Website-in-a-Day service starts at $2,200. A payment plan of three payments of $800 is available for clients who prefer to spread the investment. The payment plan total reflects a small convenience fee for the flexibility. Full pricing details are on the Website-in-a-Day page.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. For the Website-in-a-Day, a three-payment plan is available. For custom brand and web packages, a 50% deposit is due upon signing with the remaining balance due at launch. Payment plan structures for other services are discussed on the discovery call.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, and ACH bank transfer through our secure HoneyBook invoicing system, powered by Stripe.
Is a deposit required to hold my spot?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your Design Day or project start date. This deposit holds your spot on our calendar and covers the preparation work completed before Design Day begins.
What is your refund policy?
Because we invest significant preparation time and hold your spot exclusively for you, deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your Design Day, we offer one complimentary reschedule with a minimum of 7 days' notice. Full project payments made after kickoff are non-refundable. We encourage every client to ask every question they have before booking — that is exactly what the discovery call is for.
SECTION 7 — RESULTS AND TRUST
Can I see examples of your work?
Yes — our Portfolio page features client transformations with before and after comparisons, the services provided, and client results. If you are in a specific industry and want to see relevant examples, mention it on your inquiry form and we will pull the most relevant work to share on your discovery call.
Do you have client testimonials I can read?
Yes — testimonials from past clients are featured throughout the site, including on the homepage and the Website-in-a-Day page. We prioritize sharing results — not just "she was great to work with" but tangible outcomes like increased inquiries, raised prices, and new client confidence after launch.
What if I invest and I am not happy with the result?
We take every measure upfront to ensure this does not happen — including a thorough discovery call, a detailed design brief, and an in-session review period on Design Day. That said, if something is not right, we want to know immediately. Minor adjustments are included in the post-launch window. We have never had a client leave without a site they are proud of, and we intend to keep it that way.
I have been burned by a designer before. How is this different?
We hear this more than you might think — and we take it seriously. Here is what is different: your timeline is set and honored. Your deliverables are defined before you book. Your contract outlines exactly what is included. You are not waiting months for vague updates. On Design Day you see your site being built in real time. There are no surprises here — only a process that is transparent from the first inquiry to launch day.
SECTION 8 — THE CLOSING QUESTION
This is the most important question on the entire page and most FAQs leave it out entirely
I am still not sure if this is the right time. What should I do?
Book the discovery call. The call is free, there is no pressure to commit, and it gives you answers to questions you have not even thought of yet. Most clients leave the call with complete clarity — either it is the right fit and they are ready to move forward, or they leave with a clear picture of what to do first to get ready. Either outcome is a win. The worst thing you can do is stay on a website that is quietly costing you clients while you wait for the "perfect" time. The link to book your call is at the top of this page.
